Located about 20 minutes along the Hanwell Road outside Fredericton on Yoho Lake, The Yoho Camp consists of 700 acres of forest and offers a sandy lakefront for water activities.
There are two all-season lodges: the Jensen Lodge with a wood stove for heating and a propane stove for cooking, as well as propane lights, is suitable for small groups, and the Yoho Scout Lodge with electrical facilities can accommodate two large groups, in the Chad O'Quinn Wing, and the Main Wing of the lodge.
The Yoho Scout Lodge - Main Wing has full kitchen facilities, and the Chad O'Quinn Wing has a kitchenette. Both wings are complete with showers and washrooms, and dining areas.
There are also outdoor camping opportunities in a tenting area located at the G.L. Miller Campground which includes several camp sites and small buildings.
The Yoho Scout Reserve has a extensive Nature Trails, an outdoor chapel, canoeing resources, and a playing field.
Directions from New Maryland:
1. Head northeast on New Maryland Hwy/NB-101 N
2. Turn right onto the NB-2 W/Trans-Canada Highway ramp to Edmundston
3. Merge onto NB-2 W (4.4 km)
4. Take exit 281 for New Brunswick 640 toward Hanwell/Fredericton (500m)
5. Turn right onto Hanwell Rd/NB-640 S
Continue to follow NB-640 S (8.4km)
6. Turn left to stay on NB-640 S (10.5km)
7. The driveway to the main lodge is on the left just past the Yoho Lake Road. Look for the signs.
